The duo Herskedal / Myhre met for the first time when studying at the Trondheim Music University, and quickly found common musical ground. Daniel Herskedal, made his definitive international breakthrough in 2015 with the album "Slow Eastbound Train" (Edition Records), with brilliant record and concert reviews from the European and American press. His chamber music release “Behind The Wall” on Naxos caught similar attention in 2019. Magnus Moksnes Myhre is organist and the daily cathedral cantor in Molde Cathedral, and together they unite in unexpected beauty inspired by the oriental tonal language.
