“Jul på Pluto” is the second single from the album “Dette er julemusikk” by Tjore Ihlebæk following hit song “Dette er en julesang”. The Norwegian duo was asked to make music for the popular TV-show Øisteins juleblyant, and the Christmas special for English YouTube series Box Yourself. They promised themselves the result was going to be fun and entertaining music for kids and also interesting and exciting new music for grown-ups. They kept their word. Jul på Pluto is a floating piece of pop telling the story of how it would be to celebrate Christmas in space. This is not the everyday glossy Christmas tune, but a surrealistic and fun approach in the spirit of Pet Sounds and 60’s psychedelia.
